Zero to Sixty: Michael Bay-esque Explosions

Zero to Sixty is our chance to discover an engaging video (or two) about one of the many great brands Leith represents. We scour the Internet – Okay, mostly Youtube – to find something relevant and entertaining. Even if the video is brief, it does provide even just a moment’s break from the workday.

If you just returned to Earth, it’s possible that you may not have heard that the 2015 Acura TLX hit showroom floors a bit over a week ago. Acura unveiled its newest luxury sedan at the beginning of this year to critical praise; however, it was beleaguered with delays throughout the summer. The company rekindled interest through both interesting television commercials and social media campaigns that engaged consumers.

Now that it is on showroom floors, including Leith Acura in Cary and Leith Acura of Fayetteville, we at Leith Cars thought it judicious to share two of those aforementioned commercials with you. While there are no screeching tires or slow-motion crashes, these feature designs, engineering, and … explosions – Michael Bay would be proud, but keep in mind that our creations still have substance.

If you don’t believe us, here’s a little taste from Car and Driver: “In replacing the TSX and the TL, Acura has crafted a better car using the finest attributes of both… Overall, the TLX is a satisfying and overdue return to the engineering and dynamic greatness long associated with Honda’s luxury brand”
