2014 Winter Raleigh Classic: December 5-6

Raleigh Classic

It’s time once again for the best classic car auction in the southeastern United States. This weekend marks the twentieth edition of the Raleigh Classic, North Carolina’s premiere auction for antique, vintage, and classic motor vehicles.

The auction will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds as usual, with vehicles on display within the climate-controlled confines of the Jim Graham Building. The bidding will be carried out in the adjoining Exposition Building.

Collectors are well aware of how difficult it can be to find old cars of true quality and character, which is why an event like this is so important. For a classic car enthusiast, the Raleigh Classic offers an excellent selection of rare muscle cars, mint originals, and rare convertibles. Specials trucks, vans, and wagons will be on the block, as well as some stunning examples of British classics and sports cars. The exhibited vehicles date from as far back as 1924, with every decade since then represented. As of now, more than three hundred cars will be bid on this weekend.

Though bidding doesn’t start until Friday, tomorrow, December 4, there will be a special preview of the available cars open to all registered bidders. A full run down of this weekend’s schedule is as follows.
