Fifteen; that\u2019s the number of scholarships Cary Visual Art has awarded to young Cary artists. $2,500; that\u2019s the amount of money each scholarship awards. And, five; five recipients of the 2016 Young Cary Artists Scholarship \u2013 five artists whose incredible work you\u2019ve got to see.<\/p>\n

But before you do, we’d like to note that\u00a0artistry is not the only criteria for the CVA scholarship. Our five recipients\u00a0were also selected\u00a0based on their interdisciplinary creativity, leadership potential, extracurricular activities, and involvement in the community. They see\u00a0the bigger picture; one that\u00a0draws us together, shares ideas, and\u00a0goes deeper than the canvas.<\/p>\n
