One of the best ways that we can share aspects of our dealerships is to let people who have visited provide their own account. Thanks to a website called DealerRater, people have a convenient place to write their stories, rate dealerships in terms of customer service, quality of work, friendliness, overall experience and pricing. People can also tag specific sales representatives in their posts so that you can clearly see reputations, whether good or bad. DealerRater is kind of like Amazon.com in that you can read all the reviews for a particular dealership ahead of time and decide if you feel comfortable bringing your business there. On Tuesdays, we write a column called Real People Matter. The structure of the column is to check DealerRater for new stories about a dealership and then write about it. We choose from among the most recent stories so that you can easily read the story for yourself and see that it is current. Today we look at Leith Honda, our Honda dealership located in Raleigh, right off Capital Boulevard.
In particular, a customer named Tracy Bass posted a review just a few days ago on the last day of January. Tracy had already bought a CR-V from Leith Honda at some point in the past and indicated that Nahru Williams was the sales representative who sold the CR-V. Nahru is the most frequently mentioned associate for Leith Honda on DealerRater, which you can see easily since DealerRater ranks associates by number of reviews. Because Nahru did such a great job for Tracy Bass in the past, when it came time for Tracy’s daughter to buy a car, they headed to Leith Honda. They knew what kind of car they wanted—a Honda Accord—as Tracy’s daughter’s last car had been a 1999 Honda Accord, and they were pleased with the level of Honda’s craftsmanship. Tracy writes that the staff were accommodating to what they were looking for, and made sure that they walked out happy. From the review itself: “I was very pleased with Nahru Williams when I bought my Honda CRV that I came back to Leith Honda and Nahru when it was time to buy my daughter Courtney a Honda Accord. He has excellent customer service and met all of our needs and wants in her new Accord. My daughter previous car was a 1999 Accord and we were so happy with the quality of work in a Honda there was no question we wanted another one. The friendliness of the staff and Nahru were so very comforting that I have recommended the dealership to all my family and friends. The whole overall experience of our purchase and the price were so reasonable that I know I will be returning when it’s time for me to purchase another CRV. And I will be asking for Nahru Williams. Forever customer, Tracy Bass” We love that we have an ongoing relationship with Tracy Bass because cars are long-term products. We frequently refer to the “lifetime” of a vehicle, so it makes sense that when we sell a vehicle, we’re actually beginning a relationship with you to make sure that you’re happy with your purchase.
