It’s Wednesday, so you know what that means. Time to space out for a few minutes and watch a car be awesome.
Today we look at footage of one of the most hotly anticipated cars anywhere, the Acura NSX Concept. This new video showcases the latest stage of the design process, including a sporty red interior. The steering wheel is shaping up nicely, and it’s good to see the push button gear shifter from the RLX make an appearance.
On the outside, the NSX’s angled variant of the Jewel Eye headlights looks fierce as ever, and the rims they’ve got on it look like they could be deployed to slash the competition’s tires. We also get a look at Acura’s revolutionary Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system in action, with the video illustrating exactly when and where regenerative braking kicks in.
Of course this is really Acura being as big of a tease as ever. The footage is all digital, rendered within the engine of Gran Turismo 6 for Playstation. There’s still no word on when the NSX will go into production. All we know is that we’re developing an excessive salivation problem.
You can tell us all about how much you want the Acura NSX Concept to be here right now in the comments, or you can stop by Leith Acura of Cary or Leith Acura of Fayetteville and tell us in person.
