A few months ago, we launched the Leith Cars blog with themed posts that focus on various aspects of our dealerships and the automotive industry. From the customer testimonials presented in Real People Matter to the most intriguing post of the week highlighted in Best in Class, we want you to engage with us. Our team hopes you’ll leave comments and questions – even concerns – because we want to build a community, as well as address issues when necessary.
Wednesday posts may interest you the most. We scour the Internet to find videos that surge adrenaline or induce a daydream of pure envy. Yes, you have our permission to covet.
England has a unique estate in West Sussex: the Goodwood House. In 1993, Lord March took control of the house and, with a love for Britain’s rich racing history, wanted to return high-speed glory to the Goodwood Circuit. He, however, did not possess the necessary permits to do so. In a situation that would leave many people feeling defeated, March improvised: He would host a festival on the grounds of the estate.
The 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed just finished another year of thrilling attendees with races, vintage cars, concept cars, and legendary drivers – including Formula One icon and International Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee Stirling Moss. There are videos that highlight the events, emphasize particular vehicles, and catch only glimpses of the races. While these are fun to view, you deserve better than that.
We embedded four videos that span the entire Festival of Speed. With hours of footage to watch, we are sure you’ll find plenty to enjoy as you skim through or buckle in for a marathon of high-octane entertainment. We also encourage you to let us know about some of your favorite moments; if you are really detail-oriented, make note of which video and the minute mark, so others can find these awesome clips.
So sit back and enjoy the ride…
