Buckle up, adjust your mirrors, start your engine and rev up for a grand time at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR). If racing is your thing, then this is the place for you. In addition to some amazing spectator events, racing fans actually have the awesome chance to get on the track and be a part of the racing. You don’t always have to stand by watching on the sidelines, you have the opportunity to live out your dreams. Or shall we say, race out your dreams.

Choose Formula Experiences where you get to sit behind the wheel and drive a formula race car around the track. This is the only one of its kind in America and get this and no experience is necessary. Before putting that helmet over your head and getting on the track, participants undergo two hours of training with knowledgeable instructors by your side every step of the way. Get your adrenaline pumping and feel the rush on the racetrack. This is sure to be an experience of a lifetime. One you will never forget.

Racing for a Cause

Get on the track and give back. A few times each racing season, VIR proudly hosts Charity Laps. What a great way to give back. Come up to VIR and drive your car, truck or bike around the track for $25 a lap to benefit a local charity. A VIR pace car leads the way at highway speeds and drivers follow. What a cool way to get on the race track and support a cause dear to your heart all at the same time.
