If you’re a car fan, it’s hard to get excited by the newest technology these days.
Don’t get us wrong, it’s all very cool. Stuff like lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, parallel parking assist—these are all really helpful and for 90% of the drivers out there are exactly what ought to be added to cars.
But for the other 10 percent, who actually like to be more involved with the car (as opposed to the car’s computer doing more of the work), is there anything new on the horizon?
The 2017 Nissan SR Turbo is a response to exactly that question. This is a car for the other 10 percent. More horsepower, a stiffer suspension, better damping, larger brakes, and a fun manual transmission are all that many of us want out of a car, and this spec of the Sentra delivers that in spades.
It’s a nice reminder that not every car has to be loaded with gizmos and computers. Sometimes you just want a car to be fun to whip around, and if that sounds like you, then the Sentra SR Turbo is definitely worth a test drive.
If you don’t have time to make it out to Leith Nissan just yet, give the above podcast a listen. At just over four minutes, it can give you an introduction to the new Sentra faster than you can nuke your dinner. Check it out and let us know what you think over on our Facebook at LeithCars.
